Can you commit to our training and technical requirements?

If you are selected to progress to the next stage, we will expect you to attend training, complete assessments and attend live inspections, including a shadow event. The number of days of training varies by remit and role. As an example, training for schools team inspectors consists of 11 days plus shadowing a live inspection. Please make sure you are able and willing to commit to this before registering your interest.

We expect contracted Ofsted Inspectors to commit to regular inspection work and all necessary training as determined by us. Inspections will vary in length depending on remit. Training will be around 5 days a year. Training is free of charge but travel and accommodation costs are at your own expense.
